Communication, Culture and Technology
Keywords:
Comunicação, Cultura, TecnologiaSynopsis
More than two decades ago, when Castells (1999) conceptualized the Network Society, it was not imagined how accurate it would be in its definition. We live in a world that is more than connected and the changes brought about by such a reality are felt in all areas and levels. The Covid-19 pandemic caused a technological acceleration and many practices are here to stay. This is what the book Communication, Culture and Technology seeks to show, dedicated to communication students and professionals, as well as scholars in similar areas. The objective is to show how much society demands from technology and raise discussions about its need for a better democratization of spaces for debate and learning.
